The Future of Fort Belvoir -
Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) is changing the face of Fort Belvoir. BRAC 133 at the Mark Center complex consists of 2 office towers of 15 and 17 stories as well as a parking garage. BRAC 133 at the Mark Center Complex will be the new home to the Washington Headquarters Service (WHS), Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA), Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA), DoD Inspector General (DoDIG), DoD Education Activity (DoDEA).
BRAC 168 at Fort Belvoir consists of 8,500 personnel moving to a new 2.4 million square foot campus of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) on the Engineering Proving Grounds (EPG). BRAC 169 at Fort Belvoir is the construction of the new Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (replacement for DeWitt Community Hospital) located on the main post of Fort Belvoir.
